As reported earlier today, Raised Palate Restaurants closed the doors to its Thirteen Pies restaurant at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta on May 1 . Now comes word that another Texas-based restaurant group will open another Italian concept in its place.
Taverna Atlanta from Lombardi Family Concepts "will offer Northern Italian delights ranging from simple comforts such as oven-fired pizzas and salads to fabulous risotto," according to a press release." The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner daily and brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Other Taverna locations include Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Texas, plus Akumal, Mexico, and Laguna Beach, California.
