Taqueria del Sol, Ramen Station coming to Larkin on Memorial

Paces Properties, the company behind Krog Street Market, has announced that a new location of Taqueria del Sol and a new concept called Ramen Station from the team behind Makan will join its Larkin on Memorial project in Grant Park .

It was previously announced that Grant Park Market, from the team behind Candler Park Market, would be the first tenant at the 63,000 square foot project, projected to open in summer, 2017.

According to a press release, Ramen Station will be a 1,700 square-foot neighborhood Japanese Ramen Shop, "centered on crafting the best ramen bowls filled with artisan noodles from Sun Noodle, rich, made from scratch broths, and fresh and local meats and vegetables." In addition, look for  steamed buns, seasonal appetizers and a craft bar beverage program. Ramen Station also plans to offer vegetarian and gluten free options."

Of course, Taqueria del Sol is a longtime Atlanta Mexican-meets-Southern favorite that's been picked by Bon Appétit and Food Network as a “Top American Restaurant,” and owners Mike Klank and chef Eddie Hernandez were nominated for the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurateurs. The new, freestanding 2,200 square-foot location which will feature an expansive outdoor patio area.

Larkin on Memorial is located at 519 Memorial Drive, across from historic Oakland Cemetery.
