About two years after opening its first location in Brookwood Hills , fast casual concept Gusto is opening in a second space today at 782 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, just a stone's throw from Ponce City Market.

The order-at-the-counter concept asks customers to choose a protein (grilled chicken or portabella mushrooms or a halved avocado), a base of mixed greens, brown rice, or flatbread, and a “gusto”— sauces, vegetables and fruits or garnish including tahini cucumber feta and apple curry peanut. Local beers and wines will also be available for purchase starting next week.

The space, which was formerly home to restaurant The Real Chow Baby, features exposed brick, concrete floors and a sunny yellow-and-grey color scheme, as well as a large patio facing Ponce de Leon Ave.

The restaurant, which founded in 2014 by former NFL quarterback and Georgia native Nate Hybl, has plans to expand to new markets in coming months.
