Taka Sushi and Passion Atlanta will close its doors March 5 at 375 Pharr Road in Buckhead Village after 14 years according to the restaurant's website. Chef Taka Moriuchi addressed the move on Taka's Facebook page:

What I got in 14 years of Taka Sushi business? It was value of customers. It cannot exchange to money. Business is money making but that comes later naturally. Customer satisfaction comes 1st. And building relashionship is 2nd. And just keep going. And money come to me at the end. This is my theory of 14 years business. And this theory will take over to a new place. We will close the door in 2 weeks. The last day is March 5th. Thank you again. TAKA

The spot is set to reopen March 9 in a temporary space in the old Cafe at Pharr location at 3145 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. Taka will relocate to its new permanent location in the Gateway development at 4600 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs in April.
