Storico Fresco, from chef and sommelier Mike Patrick, who founded the company to create handmade fresh pastas and sauces from classic Italian recipes, is now open as an Alimentari (Italian for specialty grocery store), with a new 100-seat, full-service restaurant, serving lunch Mondays-Saturdays. And dinner service, with a full bar, is coming soon.
Located at 3167 Peachtree Road, in the newly refurbished Buckhead Exchange shopping center, the business boasts an array of prepared and take-home foods, cheese and cured meats, in addition to Storico Fresco pastas and sauces, which have become popular gets at Atlanta farmers markets .
The lunch menu, priced at $7-$14 for most items, ranges from antipasti and salads to panni and pasta dishes, such as Bertu con Guanciale, with cotechino and sweet Italian sausage, Grana Padano, and ricotta filling .
