Southbound now open for dinner

After nearly a month of serving only weekday lunch, Southbound , the new Chamblee restaurant from Dennis Lange and Mike Plummer, is now serving dinner Mondays-Saturdays. Former Watershed sous chef Ryan Smith is in the kitchen. On the menu, look for snacks such as SB hot chicken, small plates such as grilled octopus, and large plates ranging up to a Certified Angus Beef porterhouse steak, along with substantial beer and wine lists.

Weinstein in as executive chef at Woodfire

EATER reports that Matthew Weinstein is the new executive chef at Woodfire Grill, taking over for Tyler Williams, who suddenly left in May.

P'cheen will be Last Word Food & Cocktails

What Now Atlanta reports that the new concept from Bernard Moussa, formerly of Woodfire Grill, will be called Last Word Food & Cocktails. Moussa made a deal for the former P'cheen space in the Old Fourth Ward in early 2014.
