The brewery said it was “appalled” by the posts, which it said were issued by a UK agency.

Frank, the public relations firm that worked with Scofflaw in the UK, also issued a statement addressing the flap:

The controversy started after a press release was issued in the UK saying "self confessed trailer trash brewery" Scofflaw would get the UK "beered up redneck style completely free of charge...But there is a hook...you have to be a Trump supporter."

BrewDog subsequently canceled its planned weekend events with Scofflaw.
