On March 22, the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program is coming to Atlanta for the very first time. The prominent Boston-based craft brewery and Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) are hosting a speed coaching event to help food and beverage entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses.
In partnership with Accion, the nation’s largest nonprofit micro and small business lending network, Brewing the American Dream is the core philanthropic initiative for Sam Adams. ACE is a non-profit organization that provides loans and business development resources to entrepreneurs.
During the event, food and beverage business owners, including fellow craft brewers, are counseled by a variety of business experts to generate new ideas and strategies to help their businesses grow and succeed. Each entrepreneur can participate in up to six 20-minute personalized, high-impact coaching sessions with some of the area’s best small business specialists, as well subject experts from the Sam Adams team, including Jennifer Glanville, the Boston Brewery manager.
Since 2008, Brewing the American Dream has partnered with Accion to lend more than $8.5 million in microloans to nearly 825 businesses. During that time, the program has coached or mentored over 6,000 small businesses and helped to create or save more than 3,300 jobs.
The Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream event is 6- 8:30 p.m. on March 22 at the Loudermilk Center at 40 Courtland Street N.E. in Atlanta. Free, and open to anyone, but you must register in advance online here .
