Salad bar concept opens in Atlantic Station tomorrow

By Caleigh Derreberry

Salata, a fast-casual salad bar, will open its first Georgia restaurant in Atlantic Station tomorrow.

The salad bar concept serves customizable salads and lettuce wraps as well as soups. Salata offers more than 50 different topping options including chick peas, kidney beans, beets, almonds and pesto chicken.  Its 10 dressings are made in house, and the chain is gluten-free certified.

Beverage offerings include house-made teas and lemonades, served from taps resembling those used for draft beer.

When the Atlantic Station location, situated at 265 19th Street, unlocks doors Sept. 21, it will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
