The salad bar concept serves customizable salads and lettuce wraps as well as soups. Salata offers more than 50 different topping options including chick peas, kidney beans, beets, almonds and pesto chicken. Its 10 dressings are made in house, and the chain is gluten-free certified.
Beverage offerings include house-made teas and lemonades, served from taps resembling those used for draft beer.
When the Atlantic Station location, situated at 265 19th Street, unlocks doors Sept. 21, it will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Atlantic Station eatery is the first of 20 Salata restaurants planned for the Atlanta area. The Houston-based chain has more than 65 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois and California. Besides Georgia, the franchise is also expanding into Florida.
