A Houston-based salad chain is ready to make its Atlanta debut this year.

Salata will start construction at Atlantic Station this spring in preparation for a Summer 2017 opening, replacing a now-shuttered Moe's Southwest Grill location. Salata plans to open 20 restaurants in metro Atlanta over the next few years.

The menu offers customizable salads and salad wraps with ingredients including lettuces, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, seeds, nuts, chicken, seafood and vegan proteins, along with soups, breads and desserts. The concept is gluten-free certified.

Salata also has locations in Texas, Illinois and Southern California.
