A new coffee shop has taken up residence at Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

Mourning Dove Coffee, from Birmingham, Ala.-based Revelator Coffee, opened over the weekend in the upscale shopping complex at 3065 Peachtree Road NE. It replaces Corso Coffee, which closed in August.

The shop will offer a coffee program similar to other Revelator locations, with alcohol and food also being offered.

Andrea Kirshtein, who previously served as a pastry chef at Empire State South, will serve as a managing partner.

Revelator, which announced earlier this year that it was purchasing the Atlanta-based group of Octane coffee shops , also has cafes in Atlanta at 691 14th St. and 848 Spring St. NW. Its coffee is also served at West Elm inside Ponce City Market and a Revelator Coffee bar will be part of the new Whole Foods opening in Chamblee this month .

Revelator also has locations in Birmingham, New Orleans, Nashville, Chattanooga and Charleston.

This week, Mourning Dove will be open from 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. Regular hours, which are set to begin next weekend, will be 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
