Radial Cafe has closed its College Park location less than a year after opening.

The restaurant announced the closure with a statement posted on its website and Facebook page:

It has been an Honor!

We are heartbroken to inform you that Radial Cafe-College Park has ceased operations after the close of business on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. This decision did not come easily and we are sorry that we can no longer offer service in College Park.

Radial Cafe-Candler Park will remain fully operational, so we hope you will join us there on your next visit.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued loyalty in choosing us as your preferred local-to-table dining destination. Without your support, our success would not have been possible.

Warm regards,

Management and Staff of Radial Cafe-College Park

The restaurant announced plans to open the College Park location at 3725 Main St. in late 2016 , and the restaurant opened in June 2017. It took over the space that was previously home to The Pecan, which closed in early 2016

As at its first location in Candler Park, which opened in 1999, Radial dished up breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and offered a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items.

The AJC has reached out to owner Frank Bragg for comment.

The closure comes on the heels of the shuttering of College Park eatery The Pig & The Pint, which closed last month.

The AJC is also working to confirm reports that two other College Park bars and restaurants have closed.
