The menu features
appetizers, sandwiches, salads, meats and sides meant to reflect Gomez's Puerto Rican and Argentinian roots. Menu items include conch fritters, plantain empanadas, citrus-brined beer can chicken, chopped salad, sol mahi tacos and spaghetti squash with apples and brown butter.
"The restaurant is all about Latin flavors with local products," Gomez said. "The concept, like the name, is about being on the porch with family and friends, grilling, barbecuing and hanging out, the difference being Porch Light has a Puerto Rican behind the grill."
