The modern and industrial Japanese restaurant, Nexto , is closing to the public for the summer.

The Old Fourth Ward restaurant from Concentrics Restaurants', known for its ramen from executive chef Mihoko Obunai and its extensive beverage menu, has stopped all regular lunch and dinner service.

Instead, it is shifting be gears this summer to serve as a private event space for meetings, parties and other gatherings. In addition, its menu will extend beyond the Japanese-centric dishes of Nexto and will include dishes inspired by other Concentric Restaurants' concepts.

As of now Nexto, which opened last October, is expected to reopen this fall as a restaurant. However, no official return date has been announced.
