It's National Coffee Day , so it's fitting time for an announcement that a coffee shop will open in metro Atlanta soon.

Cafe Lucia, located at 57 Forsyth St. NW in downtown Atlanta since 2015, is set to open a second location at 1260 West Spring St. in Smyrna this November.

The spot will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to coffee and drinks including specialty lattes. The menu will include items such peanut butter and jelly French toast and sweet potato pancakes for breakfast; turkey BLT, grilled cheese and create-your-own salad bowl for lunch; and an expanded dinner menu with tapas-style small plates.

Weekend brunch will also be served, featuring mimosas and breakfast beverages.

Cafe Lucia Smyrna will also offer a selection of wines and beers, and will showcase works from local artists for sale and weekly programming such as open mic nights, children’s story-telling and live music.

Owner David Jackson plans to work with Briggs and Associates, a nonprofit that supports employment services for adults with intellectual disabilities, to hire staff for the new location.

The café will be open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m.- 9 p.m., Friday from 6:30 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-midnight and Sunday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
