Places to buy delectable Thanksgiving pies in metro Atlanta

You can have you cake pie and eat it too.

Pumpkin pie is always an option, and certainly, this list includes a few, but there are more choices you might want to sink your teeth into. From bourbon pecan pie to apple crumble, these decadent desserts are just what you need to put the finishing touch on your Thanksgiving meal.

Alon’s Bakery and MarketThere’s something for everybody, pie-wise, at Alon’s, with options including Salted Caramel Apple, Lemon Meringue, Chocolate Chunk Pecan and Apple Cranberry. Orders must be in by 5 p.m. Nov. 25. and can be placed online at alons.com, via phone or in person.

Krispy Kreme. Can’t decide between pie and doughnuts? Through Nov. 28, Krispy Kreme is offering an Easy as Pie doughnut collection, with flavors including Dutch Apple Pie, Chocolate Kreme Pie and Cherry Pie.  Krispy Kreme will also offer guests two dozen doughnuts for $13 – either two Original Glazed dozens or one Original Glazed and one assorted dozen – on Nov. 23 while supplies last at participating shops.

The Little Tart BakeshopChoose from pies including Pumpkin Caramel, Apple Oat Streusel, Double Crust Apple and Maple Pecan. Orders close Nov. 24 and can be made online.

Root Baking Co. Make your holidays sweet with Root’s Heirloom Apple Pie made with heirloom apples and stone-milled flour crust, plus hearth breads, cookies and seasonal pastries. Orders can be placed online or in person by 3 p.m. Nov. 25.
