Grab your big hat, don your best gear and kick back with cool cocktails and delectable bites during this year’s Kentucky Derby festivities in metro Atlanta. The following four restaurants will host viewing parties plus a few friendly wagers, so get ready to eat, drink and place bets. All events will take place on Saturday, May 6.

Livingston Restaurant + Bar: The second annual Kentucky Derby viewing party will feature passed appetizers; music; and pre-race entertainment including music, raffles and a big hat contest beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets, which are $20 each, may be purchased here and includes a complimentary drink ticket. All proceeds will benefit the Sotherly Foundation, which supports veterans in the Atlanta area.

The Southern Gentleman: While the Kentucky Derby race only lasts only a few minutes, this restaurant's staff will dish out buffet faves featuring pickled shrimp toast, shrimp and grits, chicken salad sliders and cheddar cheese pimento pork rinds for several hours beginning at 3:30 p.m. Tickets, which are $35 each, can be purchased here and includes food, two beverages and a hat contest. Parish: Partygoers will be able to enjoy chef Stuart Tracy's Derby-inspired bites such as hot brown sandwiches, country ham biscuits and pickled shrimp; refreshing mint juleps; live music performances; and an interactive photo booth from 4:30-7:40 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and include a classic Four Roses mint julep, the world's largest G.H. Mumm champagne toast and more.

Avalon : Grab your pastel hats, seersucker suits and spend the day sipping mint juleps at this shopping center in Alpharetta beginning at 3 p.m. Festivities will include an open bar, music and a jumbo viewing screen so visitors can watch the race. On-site restaurants such as The El Felix, Kona Grill and Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar will offer Derby-themed drinks.

Alpha Derby Weekend: Celebrate a weekend full of derby fun with the Alphas of Atlanta. The Kentucky Derby is a time to dress up, party and celebrate the beginning of Spring. From Kick-Off Social on Friday to a Sunday Jazz brunch, the City Club of Buckhead will be full of Kentucky Derby fun.
