The group behind popular Smyrna restaurant Muss & Turner’s is turning its attention to a new kind of food.
Co-owner Chris Hall shared in an email that his team is in "well into the pre-opening process" on new pizza joint MTH Pizza. The restaurant's website doesn't provide a specific address but confirms the restaurant will open this fall in Smyrna, and Hall confirmed the spot will be located in the shopping complex as Muss & Turner's.
Hall, along with Todd Mussman and Ryan Turner, are partners in Unsukay restaurant group, which also owns Eleanor's in Smyrna and Local Three Kitchen & Bar in Atlanta. The trio also previously owned a Muss & Turner's location in Marietta which has since closed.
Hall said the menu will exclusively consist of pizza and will be cooked in Renato ovens.
“If you like what we did with sandwiches at Muss & Turner’s, you’re going to love what we’re doing with pizza,” Hall told the AJC.
