If you want something warm and cheesy to keep you moving while holiday shopping, you'll be in luck this year.
Miami-based Genuine Pizza is set to open its first Atlanta location in Phipps Plaza this December. Started as Harry's Pizzeria by James Beard Award winner Michael Schwartz, the restaurant offers quick-fired pizza as well as snacks, soups, salads entrees and signature items including short rib pizza, polenta fries with spicy ketchup, brussels sprouts and stracciatella salad and chocolate chunk cookies.
The interior will feature "light woods and simple accents like custom yellow and grey Cuban tile, orange chairs, and the yellow-tiled Marra Forni oven," according to a press release. A pizza bar will front the open kitchen and a glass-faced dough room at the entrance.
