If you're an Atlanta-based UGA alum jonesing for the crepes you used to get in Athens at Pauley's Crepe Bar -- jones no more.

<< Atlanta area crepe makers do it their own way

The campus favorite -- which we named one of the restaurants we couldn't wait to see open in Atlanta in 2016 --  is opening a local outpost at 935 Marietta St. NW this weekend. Though a glimpse at the menu is only available onsite, expect offerings similar to the Athens spot including a variety of savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches and salads.

The kitchen will be open from 4-11 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday, with the bar open from noon-2:30 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday and noon-midnight Sunday.

Between its proximity to Georgia Tech and its late-night hours, UGA alumni might find themselves rubbing elbows with students from their rival school -- but everyone should be able to find some common ground in the name of good crepes, right?

Pauley's Crepe Bar, 935 Marietta St. NW, Atlanta. 404-481-5643, pauleyscrepebar.com.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
