St. Patrick’s Day 2019: Celebrate at these metro Atlanta restaurants and bars

The luck of the Irish will be with you if you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at one of these metro Atlanta restaurants and bars.

The Barrelhouse. Make the most of Sunday Funday on March 17 with food specials including bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, along with $4 Guinness, $3 Irish Whiskey Shooters, $3 Jell-O Shots and specialty cocktails.

Buzzy’s Grille. The bar will host a pre-St. Patrick’s Day party on March 16 featuring specials on green beer and Shamrock Slammers as well as live music. On March 17, look for a menu of special Irish dishes, Irish music, drink specials and green beer.

Dantanna’s. Both locations are offering food and drink specials on March 17, including corned beef and cabbage and a Guinness and Bushmills drink combo.

Hampton & Hudson. The restaurant will celebrate March 16 and 17 with brunch from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. featuring Irish specials including beef and cabbage with poached eggs and spring onion sauce; potato, leek and sausage Frittata with spring greens and green garlic vinaigrette and fava bean and sausage stew with sunny side egg and wood grilled toast. Keegan’s Irish Pub Vinings. Expect to see $6 pints of Guinness and $5 pints of Harp, Guinness Blonde and Smithwicks on March 16 and 17, as well as live music and Irish dishes from the pub’s regular menu.

Meehan’s Public House. All four locations will feature live music and Irish food and drink specials on March 17. In addition, on March 16 the Sandy Springs location will host an event sponsored by Lambay Irish Whiskey that will include a charity head-shaving event for St. Baldrick’s, live music, Irish food and drink specials. Free entry from noon-4 p.m. and $15 after 4 p.m.

Green beer is available upon request on March 17.
