By the middle of May, Marietta will be home to a new watering hole.

Marlow's Tavern will open at 2960 Shallowford Road in the Sandy Plains Centre on May 17 . The space will feature a covered outdoor patio and new spring menu items such as a banh mi chicken wrap and pan-seared crusted barramundi.

Matt Breska, formerly of Blue Moon Pizza,  will serve as general manager and Jefferson Garrido will oversee the beverage program, which will include beer, wine and cocktail offerings.

The Sandy Plains location is the 16th metro Atlanta Marlow's. Other locations include Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Duluth, Kennesaw and Midtown, as well as several locations in Florida.

Marlow’s Tavern Sandy Plains will be open for lunch and dinner daily starting at 11 a.m.
