A popular Marietta doughnut shop is taking its sweet treats ITP.

Doughnut Dollies -- which Chris and Anna Gatti opened in the downstairs space of their Canvas Cafe & Bakery in 2015 -- is set to open a second location on Howell Mill Road in the Collier Hills area by June, according to Anna Gatti.

The doughnut shop -- named for the Red Cross volunteers who delivered doughnuts and coffee to U.S. soldiers as far back as World War II -- specializes in creative flavors and classics including the Sweet Jane, a brioche doughnut with powdered sugar and vanilla Swiss cream, and seasonal offerings such as the Sweet-Potato Fluff.

Gatti said an exact address will be revealed shortly -- check back for details.

Tune in to the Atlanta Restaurant Scene Facebook page at 1 p.m., where we'll get a live look at Doughnut Dollies' doughnut making process.
