A barbecue restaurant that made a splash in Marietta when it opened in August 2017 is poised to open its second location later this month.

Loyal Q and Brew will open Feb. 20 at 3655 Old Milton Pkwy. in Alpharetta, in the space formerly home to Five Seasons Brewery.

Owner Bob Campbell, who spend 25 years with Taco Mac before opening Loyal Q, said the menu will be similar to the Marietta location, with some more regular features such as smoked prime rib.

In addition to barbecue, Loyal Q's menu features shared plates, sides and vegetables, such as salt-roasted beets, cauliflower salad and a hefty portobello sandwich, as well as salads and grain bowls. The beverage selection includes lots of beers and whiskeys.
