Chef Linton Hopkins -- of Restaurant Eugene and Holeman & Finch -- is gearing up for the opening of his new dining concept at The Battery next to Suntrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves.

As Hopkins told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution some weeks ago, the restaurant will be called C. Ellet's and will be an American steakhouse with seasonal ingredients tied into the American South. "I'm going to bring a bunch of my New Orleans food in there, like barbecue shrimp and gumbo, because I used to cook in New Orleans, but I've never really brought a lot of that experience or recipes to any our businesses," he said.

Hopkins discussed further details about the restaurant's food and beverage menu in a recent interview with Eater Atlanta. The menu will specialize in big cuts of meat, burgers, vegetables and seafood with a New Orleans influence, and a full beverage program will feature a variety of wines, beers and craft cocktails. Check out all the restaurants confirmed so far at The Battery.
