King of Pops Bar & Good Grub , located in the Central Food Hall at Ponce City Market , will have its grand opening on Thursday evening.

King of Pops co-founder Steven Carse sent out a burst with the announcement and the full menu this afternoon:

It is the first Brick and Mortar location for the company, and in addition to the pops they’ve built their reputation around, they will be unveiling their bar program. Neil Ringer is managing the project, and has come up with a really unique menu. It starts with a hand squeezed, fresh daily punch (think Grapefruit Mint, Hibiscus Limeade, Tangerine Basil) which we encourage you to spike. In addition to the punch there are several local beers, canned wine and cocktails based on pop flavors like a Blackberry Ginger Dark & Stormy, Thai Tea White Russian, Raspberry Vodka Lime, and more. Make it a poptail by dropping a perfectly paired King of Pops pop into it.

In addition to a full bar, the menu features grilled cheese, a salad sourced entirely from the company's farm (King of Crops), and the option to add a chocolate coating to any pop.

We will be giving King of Pops Coasters to the first 50 drink purchasers on Thursday.
