Kaiser's Chop House, a collaboration from chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun , will open at 5975 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs in spring 2017.

According to an announcement, the restaurant will "bring guests an elevated dining experience with quality cuts of meats, superior ingredients and a boutique wine and cocktail program."

Kaiser, who is originally from Liechtenstein, came to Atlanta in 1986, and has been part of the dining scene here for over 30 years, working for Paul Albrecht and Pano Karatassos of Buckhead Life Group at iconic restaurants such as Pano’s and Paul’s and Buckhead Diner.

Kaiser later worked with Here to Serve Restaurant Group and owner Tom Catharall as executive chef of Goldfish and Twist, and eventually  as executive corporate chef.

More details from the announcement:

Designed by The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry, the modern, chic interiors of Kaiser’s Chop House are both luxurious and inviting. The bar, boasting a custom-built walnut bookshelf, divides the bar from the dining room and sets the tone of the warm and cozy atmosphere. Large, oversized chairs welcome guests in for a cocktail. The floor to ceiling wine cellar is made entirely of glass, making it a functional, sleek and distinguished addition to the restaurant. Spherical chandeliers dimly light the dining room with a classic ambiance, and wooden tables and booths fill the space. The space is filled with elegant finishing touches, from the fresh flowers to modern art. The beautiful interiors make the restaurant the place to see and be seen. Kaiser’s Chop House provides a convivial atmosphere that entices guests to stay, enjoy and come back time and again.
