It's a big week for ramen in metro Atlanta -- Ton Ton opened its doors at Ponce City Market yesterday , and now Jinya Ramen Bar is making its move.

The restaurant, which has been in soft open mode this week, officially opens its doors today at 11 a.m. at 5975 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

The menu focuses on ramen and "Japanese soul food". Ramen options include the spicy creamy vegan ramen, the garlicky cha-cha-cha, spicy chicken ramen and the classic tonkatsu white. Non-noodle options include the pork chashu bowl and Tokyo curry rice, seasonal dishes such as the Hiyashi cold ramen, and Japanese street food including pork gyoza, crispy kale lollipops and Jinya quinoa salad.

There are more than 10 other Jinya locations in the U.S., but this is the first location in Georgia and the second in the Southeast (there's one in Virginia).

Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays.
