Highland Bakery now open in Decatur

The newest Highland Bakery location officially opened its doors today.

The local favorite -- which also has locations in Old Fourth Ward, Midtown, Buckhead and Georgia Tech and Emory campuses -- is located at 319 W. Ponce de Leon Ave.

The Decatur spot shares a menu with the Old Fourth Ward location, offering breakfast and lunch dishes including sweet potato pancakes, shrimp and grits, sandwiches, salads and coffee drinks and pastries.

In addition to the existing Highland locations, another restaurant is set to open at 25 Park Place .

Highland Bakery founder Stacy Eames also opened coffee shop Press & Grind earlier this year.
