Chef Guy Wong, chef/owner of Miso Izakaya , has announced the opening of his long delayed, much anticipated new restaurant, Le Fat , on Tuesday, March 31st, from 5-10 p.m.

Taking over the Westside space formerly occupied by the short-lived Yum Bunz, the Vietnamese concept was originally slated for summer 2014.

Look for the likes of com (rice), bun (vermicelli), and pho (noodle soup), plus family-style dishes such as fried whole fish and clay pot creations.

The 3,300-square-foot restaurant was designed by Smith Hanes, known for the interiors at the Optimist, Watershed on Peachtree and JCT Kitchen & Bar.

Wong has announced two more projects for 2015, Ton Ton at Ponce City Market, and Big Boss Chinese in Decatur, but it's anybody's guess when they will open.

935 Marietta Street N.W., Atlanta.
