The owner of Ponce City Market ramen spot Ton Ton is expanding with a sushi stall.

that he would open Miso Ko in the food hall.

A press release confirms that the spot will open this summer on the first floor of the Central Food Hall, across from Biltong Bar.  Miso Ko will feature grab-and-go offerings and seated dining and will serve made-to-order sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, makimono and specialty rolls. In addition to menu staples, specials will showcase fresh ingredients including fresh-water eel, octopus, squid, spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp, sweet tofu and soft-shell crab.

The tiled counter will offer seating for a dozen customers, who will be able to watch sushi as it’s made to order.

In addition to Ton Ton , Wong also helms Miso Izakaya in Edgewood and  Le Fat in West Midtown.
