This morning, Bon Appétit announced the 50 nominees for The Hot 10: America's Best New Restaurants 2014.
Among the finalists, Atlanta's Gunshow , Lusca , and Sobban .
To compile the 2014 list of nominees, Bon Appétit restaurant and drinks editor, Andrew Knowlton, made multiple trips to hundreds of candidates during the past year.
On Gunshow, Knowlton writes: "The menu changes frequently, but get the West Coast Burger if it comes by your table."
On Lusca:"Tortellini with rabbit mortadella and shitake; lamb neck with white anchovy; herb salad, and citrus."
On Sobban:"Korean fire wings; kimchi deviled eggs; Korean tray of soy mackerel, seaweed salad, bok choy, kimchi, rice, and tempura vegetable."
On August 19, Bon Appétit will announce The Hot 1O: America’s Best New Restaurants 2014. Each of those winning restaurants will also be featured in the annual September Restaurant Issue.
