Suddenly, it looks like Ann's Snack Bar will have some competition along Memorial Drive, as Grindhouse Killer Burgers is set to open yet another location in the former Bar One space at 701 Memorial Drive.

The deal with Paces Properties, the company behind the nearby Atlanta Dairies project, as well as, Krog Street Market and Stove Works, was announced this morning in a press release.

“We plan to make it the most retro of all of our Grindhouse Killer Burger locations, a throwback to drive-in's of the 1950s, with a big mid-century modern façade,”  Grindhouse Killer Burgers owner, Alex Brounstein, said in the release “It will feature an indoor/outdoor bar and a biergarten-style patio with outdoor games and classic movies being projected.”

The one-story building is approximately 4,000 square feet, seats up to 150, and features on-site parking. Kronberg-Wall Architects with designers Flags of Origin are working on the new location, set to open in early 2017.
