MORE: Dine out around Atlanta with these healthy dishes

The food home delivery service, which sends refrigerated boxes of ingredients and recipes to subscribers to help them easily assemble meals, launched their 2016 Superfood series last week.

Each week through February, a new superfood menu item will be offered. Entrees include flatbread with smoked salmon, arugula and artichoke and sauteed chicken with caulflower, arugula and date salad. Superfood Salad, which incorporates more than eight superfood ingredients, will also be a menu mainstay.

Superfood, a term used for everyday ingredients thought to be especially healthy and nutritious, include mostly plant-based but also some fish and dairy items such as blueberries, salmon, kale, pepitas and seaweed.
