Wing Zone is giving away five free boneless wings at all U.S. locations including the restaurant on the campus of Georgia Tech today. The company is highlighting their new Korean Q flavor, but also raising money for the Ben Abercrombie Fund hosted by the family's community church in Hoover, Alabama. Ben is the son of Marty Abercrombie, who owns two restaurant locations in Alabama. During Ben's first collegiate game with Harvard University this past September, he was paralyzed from the neck down and is now undergoing rehabilitation at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. Wing Zone's corporate headquarters is located in Atlanta.
$1 will be donated to Ben's rehab and recovery for every five free boneless wings given away today. Guests can also donate any amount directly to the Ben Abercrombie Fund or The Benson M. Abercrombie '21 Fund , a fund set up by the Harvard Varsity Club to support the family and the families of any other Harvard athletes who suffer catastrophic injuries while enrolled at the university.
