General Beauregard's bar in Athens temporarily closed

Oct 29, 2015An Athens bar is feeling the heat after being accused of printing a menu featuring a watermelon margarita called a "N*****ita."
General Beauregard's, a Confederate-themed bar, is closed until further notice. Owner Daniel Simmons denied that his bar served the racist-themed cocktail, and that he was "investigating" the allegations.
