Ford Fry's Tex-Mex restaurant The El Felix will open for lunch and dinner on Nov. 20. Chef Kevin Maxey's menu will offer Mexican-inspired staples found on

, as well as special menu items for The Battery eatery.
The restaurant will feature a 1947 Raymond Lowey-inspired taco truck built into the design of the restaurant, offering nachos with spicy brisket chili, queso, sour cream and jalapenos escabeche; hot tamales; steak and chicken tacos al carbon; and margaritas, allowing customers to take food and beverages into The Battery and the ballpark. Other menu items will include tacos de carnitas, made with slow-cooked pork shoulder with cilantro, onions and salsa cremosa; and an assortment of tacos dorados, pan-fried tacos stuffed with shrimp, mushrooms and cheese and enchiladas suizas.
