Buckhead shopping center Phipps Plaza is adding several new spots to chow down as part of its multi-phase transformation.

Next month, Orlando-based sandwich chain Earl of Sandwich will make its Atlanta debut on the second level of Phipps near Belk. In addition to sandwiches, Earl serves up salads, wraps, soups and desserts.

Fifth Group restaurant Ecco, which announced in January it would open its third location at Phipps , is set to open in 2017. It will occupy a new free-standing building outside Phipps Plaza at the corner of Peachtree and Wieuca roads. The menu will be similar to that of the Midtown location, offering European small plates and entrees. There's also an Ecco location at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Finally, opening its first Atlanta outpost in fall 2017 will by Savannah's Daniel Reed's Public Kitchen & Bar, which will be located at Phipps' new Peachtree Road entrance. The "upscale casual" restaurant will serve a menu featuring seasonal farm-to-table offerings.
