Eat lots of cheese at Cheese Fest. Drink bottomless mimosas and more at the inaugural Atlanta Mimosa Festival. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Wednesday, Sept. 26: Learn tips and tricks on how to properly make classic cocktails beginning at 7 p.m. at Bar Mercado. Guests will create a buzz while talking about cocktail origins, recipes, mixing drinks and noshing on bar snacks. Tickets are $35; email cwright@barmercadoatl.com for reservations.

Thursday, Sept. 27: Help the Grant Park locations of Farm Burger and Your Pie celebrate the re-opening of the parking deck at The George with a Grant Park-ing party. Starting at 6 p.m., each restaurant will serve complimentary bites, including deviled eggs and sweet potato hush puppies at Farm Burger and chocolaty brownies and Italian gelato samples at Your Pie, as well as offering live music, prizes, outdoor games and facepainting. In addition, all day Farm Burger will offer its No. 1 Blackboard Burger for $5 and regular fries for $1, while Your Pie will feature $5 pizzas and $3.14 combos. Both restaurants will offer half-off craft beer drafts all day, and Eventide Brewing will be on site starting at 6 p.m. Ten percent of the evening's dinner sales will be donated to Friends of Memorial Drive Greenway.

Friday, Sept. 28: The Cheese Fest 2018 will feature tastings from over 100 artisan cheese and specialty food vendors; cheesemaker sessions; classes; goods for sale and more beginning at 5 p.m. at Historic Fourth Ward Park. Tickets are $35 and includes event entry, access to the Meltdown culinary competition, cheese samples and music; $65 VIP tickets includes general admission access plus one seat in an exclusive pairing session and a specialty gift item.

Saturday, Sept. 29: The first annual Atlanta Mimosa Festival will feature mimosas with special orange juice flavors, bellinis, bloody Marys, a selection of beer, wine and cider beginning at 1 p.m. at Atlantic Station. Tickets, which can be purchased here, are $20 or $25 day of event; $50 for bottomless drinks or $60 day of event; and $79 for VIP which includes early entry and brunch.

Sunday, Sept. 30: Guests will receive their own 1½ pound boiled lobster plus a variety of steak, seafood dishes and more during Lobster Madness from 6-8 p.m. at Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails. Some of the aforementioned dishes will include chimichurri flank steak, crab and lobster rolls, smoked lobster potato salad, lobster succotash, bacon-wrapped scallop skewers, marinated shrimp skewers and seafood tacos. Tickets are $90 and $175 for VIP; the latter includes the addition of Veuve Clicquot champagne and unlimited boiled lobster in a private seating area. Both ticket tiers can be purchased here.
