'Family pizzeria' opens in Roswell plus other top metro Atlanta dining news from the week

Family-friendly Wild Slice is open in Roswell at 580 E. Crossville Road, ScoopOTP first reported. The restaurant's menu offers a variety of made-to-order pizzas, baked sandwiches, paninis, pastas, salads and gluten-free options. All items are offered in kid-sized portions at half the price. The restaurant says on its website that it "puts equally as much thought into the kids as the adults."

La Calavera Bakery is set to open a location in Kirkwood, What Now Atlanta reports.
