They offer real southern breakfast and it’s in the heart of southwest Atlanta. I eat there and fellowship with my elders and with the community. I meet with Rev. Albert E. Love and CT Martin and I get my grassroots info. I love their pancakes, eggs and beef links with cheese grits.
Favorite place for a cup of coffee: Cafe + Velo, 381 Edgewood Ave. SE, Atlanta. 404-458-2979. cafeandvelo.com/menu/
I am not a coffee drinker, but when I drink coffee, I drink it from Café + Velo. It’s on Edgewood, right up the street from my barber shop The SWAG Shop. Their coffee tastes like hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is the bomb as well.

It’s a three-way tie. If I’m on the east side of Atlanta, Ann’s Snack Bar. They have the best burgers in the world. If I’m intown, I like Sweet Auburn Seafood. Their service is always on par and their food and music is great. If I’m on the west side, I like Milk and Honey. I love their turkey meatloaf and I appreciate their service.
Favorite place for happy hour: Blue Flame Lounge, 1097 Harwell Road, Atlanta. 404-794-1446.

Favorite place for late night food and drinks. Spondivits, 1219 Virginia Ave., East Point. 404-767-1569, spondivits.net/
That place will never let you down! I have crab leg buckets and lobster tails. They have great food with a Margaritaville vibe. The only thing missing is the ocean.
