Several sources, including Eater Atlanta, have reported that Decatur's Twisted Soul restaurant is closing Dec. 30, with plans to reopen in another location in 2016.

Deborah VanTrece, executive chef/owner of the Catering Company by VanTrece, took over the shuttered Marbar Beachside Cantina on Howard in Dec. 2014, and the restaurant recently celebrated its one year anniversary.

"I have been working on this for some time, since I closed my restaurant, Edible Art Cafe in East Atlanta," VanTrece said when she opened Twisted Soul. "I am so excited to bring my Southern flair to the Decatur area."

And VanTrece was featured on NBC's "Food Fighters" in August. But she recently announced the closing on Facebook.
