Dallas-based wood fire rotisserie chicken brand Cowboy Chicken is coming to Atlanta, and its franchisee is hoping it'll be a touchdown with customers.

Retired NFL cornerback Van Jakes' company, Jake Management 22, has signed a deal to bring five Cowboy Chicken stores to the Atlanta area. No exact locations have been determined yet, according to brand manager Stephanie Merryman.

In addition to rotisserie chicken, the restaurant's menu also includes sides such as fried okra, baked sweet potatoes and creamed spinach; chicken sandwiches, tacos and enchiladas; salads and desserts.
