Coffee roaster brews up its first retail location in Alpharetta

There's a new spot to get your caffeine fix in Alpharetta.

Belux Coffee Roasters has opened its first retail location Alpharetta at 5430 McGinness Ferry Road, Ste 101B.

The business, owned and operated by husband and wife team Ben Li and Lucy Liu, first began in 2015 as an online coffee retailer and has expanded into a storefront that also offers on-site coffee roasting.

The space features a retail section, coffee bar with seating for 12 people and in-house roasting room. Customers can also purchase carafes and pour-over accessories for home brewing.

Belux plans to offer tasting events using different brewing methods from regular coffees to high-end beans, private events and coffee educational classes. Li and Liu also hope to expand to more store locations.

“We have always been great enthusiasts of coffee, and we decided to take our passion to the next level so we can share the concept and let people enjoy a really good cup of coffee,” said Liu in a prepared statement.

Belux Coffee Roasters is open Wednesday to Friday from noon-6 p.m. and Saturday from 1-6 p.m. Sundays to Tuesdays are by appointment only.
