Eric Ottensmeyer announced via his Facebook page that he is stepping down as executive chef at Leon's Full Service in Decatur to take a job as the executive chef at the re-opened Paper Mill Grill in Marietta, beginning next week.
Here's the post:
Hello Facebook friends-
In case we haven't had a chance to talk, this is my last week as chef at LEON's Full Service. Starting next week, I will be the executive chef at the re-opened Paper Mill Grill in Marietta. It has been an honor to cook at 131 E. Ponce for the last six years, and for two years at Brick Store Pub prior to that.
Decatur is a great community to be a part of, and I've made many friends that I hope will always be a part of my life. Needless to say, it has a been a privilege to work for such an amazing team of people in Giggling Otter. This is a truly one-of-a-kind restaurant group that has an unending commitment to quality & service. This company has brought me from linecook to executive chef, and I will never forget the knowledge & experience I have gained. I hope to see you all very soon.
So, give me a shout!
