Savannah Sasser has been tapped as the new executive chef at Hampton + Hudson. Sasser will replace Jason Hall, who has departed from the Inman Quarter restaurant for a culinary position with Kimpton Hotels in Los Angeles.

According to Hall, the abrupt move was prompted by family reasons. In his new position, Hall will be working under the direction of Bryan Podgorski, a former chef de cuisine at Thomas Keller's Bouchon.
