A spot with a “backyard picnic” vibe is now open at a Perimeter-area hotel

Backyard at Parkwoods opened late last month at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, as a sister concept to Parkwoods, the hotel’s flagship restaurant that opened earlier this year.

Located behind Parkwoods, the outdoor beer garden’s beverage menu focuses on Georgia-brewed craft beers including Scofflaw Basement IPA, Gate City Copperhead, and New Realm Hazy Like a Fox.

Food offerings include Southern-inspired snacks such as spicy boiled peanuts, sharp cheddar and jack pimiento cheese dip and Coca-Cola BBQ pork spare ribs.

The Backyards space features picnic-style tables, televisions, lounge furniture and oversized lawn games.

In addition to Parkwoods and Backyard, Crowne Plaza also opened Lightwell this spring. Located in the hotel’s lobby, the cafe offers Italian-inspired food and drink all day, with an expanded menu available after 4:00 p.m.

Backyard is open from 3-11 p.m. daily, with three-hour complimentary parking.
