Trader Vic's: To celebrate, this Polynesian restaurant will host a rum seminar in their Mai Tai Lounge between 5 p.m. and midnight. Guests will pay $25 for a guided tasting of five different rums paired with Polynesian appetizers. Trader Vic's is located in the Hilton Atlanta hotel and offers everything from island-inspired dishes and tropical drinks, including Atlanta's own Peachtree punch served in a fishbowl laced with rum, peaches, oranges as well as a signature rum-spiked Mai Tai.
Big Kahuna: Sip a Mango Mojito comprised of Mount Gay white rum, mango puree, Cointreau triple sec and a fresh lime wedge at this surf-culture-meets-southern-hospitality restaurant located in Downtown Atlanta.
Red Pepper Taqueria: Their Caipirinha, a blend of Brazilian rum, muddled limes and natural cane sugar, is a favorite at both the Decatur and Buckhead locations. Red Pepper redefines the typical Mexican restaurant experience to create bold drinks and dishes bursting with flavor.

Eclipse di Luna: A mix of Bacardi rum, lime, sugar and mint sprigs will yield a mojito at these bustling Latin restaurants located in Dunwoody and Atlanta. To celebrate National Rum Day, each location will host a Spanish-tapas style brunch; after 4 p.m., patrons can pair their mojito with succulent slices of pork from an on-site, whole roasted pig.
MAYA Steaks and Seafood: In oxymoronic fashion, a perfect summer day calls for a Dark and Stormy, a mix of Gosslings rum, lime juice and ginger beer at this Sandy Springs restaurant. MAYA, which opened in Janurary, offers an array of creative American steak and seafood dishes with coupled with Spanish flair.
Fandangles Restaurant and Bar: Combine Captain Morgan grapefruit rum, Luxardo maraschino liquor, fresh lime syrup and pink grapefruit and you'll arrive at Hemingway's Mistress, a popular cocktail at this restaurant located in the Sheraton Atlanta Downtown.
Makan: The Seoul Slinger, a combination of light and dark rum, pineapple juice, cucumber, orange bitters and sweet orgeat syrup is served in a festive tiki glass at this restaurant located in Decatur.
