Paces Properties, the group that developed Krog Street Market , has announced that Grant Park Market from the team behind Candler Park Market will be the first tenant at Larkin on Memorial.

The 63,000 square foot mixed-use re-development from Paces is located at 519 Memorial Drive, across from Oakland Cemetery. Larkin on Memorial aims to "serve the day-to-day needs of Grant Park, Ormewood Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, and East Atlanta neighborhoods," according to today's press release:

Grant Park Market will feature all of your favorite provisions including a large selection of all natural and organic groceries, local produce, select meats, beer, wine and their award-winning deli. Once open, Grant Park Market will also host in-store wine and beer tastings. At 5,556 SF Grant Park Market is a larger footprint than its sister location in Candler Park and therefore will welcome some new exclusive offerings such as a take-out window, hot bar and a more expansive lunch counter. The Grant Park Market is being designed by Kronberg Wall Architects and is expected to open in the first quarter of 2017.

“After 13 years of success with Candler Park Market, we knew the time was right to open a second location in Grant Park,” says Greg Hutchins, Partner, Candler/Grant Park Market. “We believe in the strength of the Eastside neighborhoods and the back-to-the-future concept that Paces has for the Larkin on Memorial project. We share a common vision of an In-town Atlanta populated by local merchants that support and share in the success of a community.”
