If you like your tacos with some California influence, you're in luck.

California-based Chronic Tacos has plans to open two metro Atlanta spots this year with the possibility of a third, Tomorrow's News Today reports.

Set to open in February, the first location will take over the space vacated by Tom + Chee in the Stone Walk development at 970 Northpoint Drive in Alpharetta.

A second Chronic Tacos will open in the Parkview on Peachtree development at 5070 Peachtree Blvd. in Chamblee, also home to Bad Daddy's Burger Bar and the forthcoming Poke Bar and The Alden.

A third location is reportedly in the works for Midtown.

Started in 2002, Chronic Tacos has locations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Utah and Washington, as well as three locations in Canada.

Chronic's offers a build-your-own Mexican dish format, asking customers to choose from a variety of bases including tacos, burritos, quesadillas and salads and proteins including pollo asado, carne asada and vegetables. The menu also features specialty items such as Chronic fries and nachos, as well as breakfast items.
